Dr. C. Tyler Mandel graduated from Logan University in St. Louis in 1979 and has been practicing in Lancaster for over 30 years. Since beginning his chiropractic practice, Dr. Mandel has kept up-to-date by completing many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care. In 1990 Dr. Mandel obtained the status of becoming a Chiropractic Orthopedist, treating more serious spinal conditions. Additionally, Dr. Mandel is a Diplomate in the American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Mandel became the first chiropractor in three counties to be certified in Active Release Technique (ART), a soft tissue treatment for tendonitis, bursitis, and nerve entrapment, and the first chiropractor in Lancaster County to offer his patients lumbar decompression therapy. Dr. Mandel is the Chairman of the Chiropractic Department at the Heart of Lancaster Hospital. He has also received many awards from the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Society and has served on the PCS Board of Directors.
